Our mission is to support and uplift women veterans throughout our community by providing essential resources, transitional support, and opportunities for connection and wellness.

Savannah is widely recognized as a strong military community, with every branch of the military—including the Coast Guard—located within a three-hour radius. Because of this, many women veterans call our region home. While their service has been invaluable, many still face challenges after transitioning to civilian life, including access to care, financial strain, and the need for reliable support systems.

At Women Veterans of the Coastal Empire, we work to meet these needs in meaningful, practical ways. Through the generosity of donors and community partners, we are able to:

• Provide baby supplies such as diapers, formula, and clothing to veteran mothers

• Offer temporary hotel stays for women veterans traveling for medical treatment

• Host community events, wellness programs, and outreach initiatives that foster connection, healing, and support

Every contribution we receive goes directly toward improving the lives of women veterans in our area. For example, a donation can help ensure a mother has the supplies she needs for her child, or provide a safe and comfortable place to stay while undergoing medical care away from home.
